I’m Nien, with 10 years of full-stack web and app development experience. I founded and operated Hearty Journal, a cross-platform illustrated diary app, leading it from concept to commercialization—300K users, 1.5M diary entries, App Store 4.9 ★, and Apple Editors’ Choice.

I’m well-versed in the full 0-to-1 product lifecycle, with hands-on experience in requirements analysis, feature planning, cross-functional collaboration, cloud deployment, and operational optimization. At Hearty Journal, I led a lean team through multiple releases and internationalization, built an in-house CRM, support, and referral system, achieved a 96% renewal rate with thousands of paying subscribers, and independently secured government grants and commercial licenses to sustain the product.
